A trip to the market

Yesterday I took a much needed trip to The Market at Union Square. Strolling around with my photographer and friend while wearing floral cat ears was all too much fun. If you are a fellow New Yorker than I totally encourage you to trot along the gorgeous open, sunlit market filled with local food enthusiast and a lovely selection of well priced herbal plants. I seriously regret not buying this sage plant and super sweet selection of baby cacti, so I will definitely be making a trip back there.
It was so lovely to get a preview of summer, surrounded by good vibes from the friendly people of union square and just being able to stroll outside without the super fast cold walk. If you don't know me then I should say, local markets, food, sunlight, and the beach are the essence of my being, it's all super recharging for me and I definitely spend most of my summers basking in it all. So be prepared! Also if you would happen to know of any other outdoor markets happening in any of the Burroughs  in good 'ol NYC then please spill it here on the Pollin Blog comment section.

Music Mondays|| 70's vibes

Music monday's are now being introduced to the blog! Every monday this little music lover (myself) will be sharing a variety of playlists with different sounds. Todays playlist is a short but sweet one, with 70's acoustic laid back vibes. These songs are near and dear to my heart with passionate words and raw vocals (no auto tune) it's all a great escape for me. Sipping tea, laying down relaxing, reading a book, or maybe even spinning in my orange hippie skirt to this playlist of songs takes me back to an era I sincerely feel I lived in my past life.
I hope you all enjoy, as much as I do.
Thrifted clothing [Summertime shoot]

Tim Buckley- Sweet Surrender

Neil Young- Harvest Moon

The Weight- The Band

Tim Buckley- Song to Siren

P.s if you have any sweet recommendations, or you enjoyed my first Music monday playlist here on the blog, comment below.

Much love,

Shop links, details/ giveaway coming soon to the blog tomorrow!

About photos+product above//So excited to share a sneak preview of the beautiful natural Herbal Baths/essential oil filled soap products sent to me by the lovely Devi )Goddess( Vanessa. All of the soaps above have a soothing goat milk base, great for all skin types and natural herbal products. Tomorrow I will be posting more about the lovely launch of her products + details for a GIVEAWAY that will melt your hearts, a chance for you to try her products for yourself. [Stay Tuned]
Her products have seriously revived my skin due to the harsh drying winds here in good ol NYC I couldnt be more grateful, and excited for a chance to share the same healing love with you all.

Soaking in baths has become a self love, and ritualistic routine of mine ( sharing more on that topic soon), With this incredible bath all the ingredients and beautiful floral herbs accompanied by these amazing soaps so kindly sent to me, are filled with essential oils, flowers and natural oats etc all combined with such a fresh natural scent I cannot get enough of it guys, I am so happy to finally rid of the annoying dry skin winter itch, I am sure most of you can relate with.

As of last year I have switched to all natural products and oils and I refuse to go back to using regular commercial soap products containing harsh chemicals such as sulfates and Parabens. Most of us don't acknowledge our skin as an organ, and it too serves many functions. Every product we put on our skin is absorbed into our bloodstream. I encourage all my lovely readers to practice a small self love exercise of treating our body with the love of natural products or at least products free of sulfates and Parabens. I promise your body will reward you with baby soft, glowing skin. A good practice I learned from a former teacher of mine was if you cant pronounce the ingredients listed on your soap products you probably shouldn't use it, also if you can't eat it then your skin shouldn't either haha ! A bit extreme I know, but it was that very sentence that led me to google search more of what I was putting on my body and almost immediately I began changing all of the products I place on my skin.

If you can relate I would love to hear about it, as for now stay tuned for this incredible giveaway coming your way soon! ~ Love Your skin, it will love you too ~

A soft embrace

Outfit Inspiration: Free People Slip  + Statement necklace (similar),  Thrifted Distressed denim Jacket (similar), Booze Teacup (similar), Urban Outfitters Knee Highs

A soft approach, an embrace of my inner self displaying my outer bohemian soft style. Embodying my style is a soft embrace, but has indeed been a fulfilling one.  On days where it is is too cold to bare the winterly winds sipping tea and relaxing in freeing clothing, accompanied by jewelry that makes me feel like a true gypsy goddess, it is these days where everything in the world feels peaceful and dancing around my best friends living room, the most simplistic genuine fun is born, repeatedly.
I am so grateful for these humble moments, during busy times, with busy minds, sipping tea, dancing, freeing my mind, it is all so healing.

Much Love,
